Elevation Polish Mount Cangyan

Hi Hussies

Tonight I have an AMAZING purple polish to share with you by Elevation Polish. Seriously the creator of these polishes is a master with pigments and shimmer!

Mount Cangyan is a shimmery royal purple polish that looks pink in some lights and indigo in others. Its a mesmarising polish that I could stare at all day long.

The formula (as with all Elevation Polishes) is excelent. Its luxurious and creamy and covers beautifully in two coats. The swatches here show two coats of Mount Cangyan followed by a coat of Seche Vite.

Darling Diva Polish TNT and Thunderstruck

Hey Hussies!

Tonight I have TNT and Thunderstruck to share with you from the Back in Black Collection by Darling Diva Polish. I'm a little bit of a closet ACDC fan so these polishes really appealed to me :-)

TNT

TNT is a black jelly polish packed to the brim with golden-red-green colour shifting micro glitters. This polish is flawless and considering how much glitter there is it dries fairly smooth. The application was a dream to work with and it reached full opacity in 3 coats. This polish ranks 10/10 for sparkle, the photos really do not do this polish justice!

The swatches here show three coats of TNT followed by a coat of Gelous and a coat of Seche Vite.

Thunderstruck

Ahhhh Thunderstruck, my perfect driving song, it really releases the tension to blast it out on the way home from a crappy day at work or school!

Thunderstruck (the polish) is a black jelly with large silver holographic hex glitter. This polish is totally bling-tastick. You've been Thunderstruck...  ;-)

The formula is a little more tricky to work with because of the large glitters, however the glitters came out of the bottle easily and didn't need fishing for.

The swatches here show three coats of Thunderstruck followed by a coat of Seche Vite.

Jindie Nails Spring Chic Collection 2013 - Part 1

Hey Hussies!

So on to the second instalment of the wonders that Jindie Nails have to share with you. Jen, the queen of the crelly polish has done it again and released a collection of breath taking proportions! Don't forget the big RESTOCK THIS WEEKEND to get your fingers on these beauties!

Fun Intended

Fun Intended is a totally cute bright pink crelly based polish with neon pink, neon orange, various metallic glitters and a smattering of white stars amongst other treasures to be found inside...

The application was smooth but I needed to fish around slightly for some of the shaped glitters. The swatches here show three coats of Fun Intended followed by a coat of Gelous and a coat of Seche Vite.

Mango With The Flow

Mango With The Flow is a peachy crelly base with silver hex glitter, multicolored iridescent glitters and a delicate shimmer which makes for an almost ethereal look.

I have to admit this is not my favourite polish of the collection, peach just doesn't suit my skin tone but I can appreciate it for the pretty polish that it is.

There is a lot of glitter in this polish so application is a little tricky and requires a bit of placement to get the glitter where you want it. The swatches here show three coats of Mango With The Flow followed by one coat of Gelous and one coat of Seche Vite.

HipStar

HipStar is a lavender/periwinkle crelly base with neon pink, purple and silver glitters and the addition of star and dot glitter too.

The formula was easy to work with, a little fishing was needed for the stars but that's the same with most shaped glitter.

The swatches here show two coats of HipStar followed by a coat of Gelous and a coat of Seche Vite.

Jindie Nails Limited Edition Matte Velvet Polishes

Hi Hussies!

I've got a lot of Jindie Nails spam to share with you tonight in celebration of Jens big RESTOCK THIS WEEKEND!

First up I have two of the new Matte Velvet Polishes, both are limited editions colours so get them while you can...

sTEALth

sTEALth is a gorgeous deep teal jelly polish packed with iridescent and teal glitters and an amazing shimmer. This polish dries to a matte finish but you can always gloss it up with a top coat.

The application was a dream, three coats achieved full coverage, which is pretty amazing considering this is a jelly polish. The swatches here show three coats of sTEALth with no top coat.

Now you all know me by now and I am a top coat addict! So I added a thin layer of Seche Vite and WOW the polish springs to shimmering, jelly life! The jelly texture is so much more visible with a glossy top coat and the shimmer pops...

Hot Pink Floyd

Hot Pink Floyd is the sexy, naughty sister of sTEALth! She is a hot, almost fluorescent pink jelly with iridescent squares, hot pink hex and lots of shimmer.

This polish isn't as opaque as sTEALth and needs quite a few coats to achieve full coverage and no visible nail line. I'm a bit OCD about VNL so I layered two coats of Hot Pink Floyd over a base of Illamasqua Stance.

For the swatches here I added a coat of Seche Vite to make the colour and shimmer pop, however this polish dries to a beautiful velvet, matte finish without top coat.

Sea Lore Spring Seas Collection

Hi Hussies!

Tonight I have the new Sea Lore, Spring Seas Collection to share with you created by my lovely friend Jamie.

What you don't know about me is that I'm a fish enthusiast and before I collected polish I had a marine fish tank. Unfortunately the upkeep and the time it took to maintain was just too much so I had to let it go. This collection appeals to the fish nerd inside me!

My Marine Tank

Jumping Jellyfish

First up is the beautiful bright blue Jumping Jellyfish. This is an insane shimmering blue jelly polish with lots of blue hex and circle glitter. The texture is a definite jelly so it needs several coats to reach opacity so I layered it over a base of Picture Polish Ocean.

The swatches here show two coats of Jumping Jellyfish followed by two coats of Seche Vite.

 Dancing Discus

Dancing Discus is a Peach based jelly with a duochrome blue to violet flash, iridescent hexes, blue squares and gold glitter. This polish is perfect for layering, its too sheer to be worn as a stand alone polish but it works over lots of different bases.

The swatches here show one coat of Dancing Discus over a base of Picture Polish Violet Femme followed by a coat of Gelous and one coat of Seche Vite.

Springing Seahorse

Springing Seahorse is another top coat. This is a beautiful combination of delicate shimmering iridescent base with various shapes of purple and dark pink glitters and white squares. The base is so delicate that it matches a variety of base colours.

The swatches here show one coat of Springing Seahorse over a base of Barry M Strawberry Ice Cream followed by one coat of Gelous and one coat of Seche Vite.

Leaping Lyretail

Leaping Lyretail is a sexy, hot pink jelly base with white squares, yellow and pink hexes and hot pink circle glitter. This is the yummy mummy of the collection ;-)

The swatches here show two coats of Leaping Lyretail over a base of Picture Polish Shocked, followed by a coat of Gelous and one coat of Seche Vite.

Popping Parrotfish

Popping Parrotfish has a pale mint green crelly base with a delicate green shimmer and is packed with lots of multicoloured glitter.

Popping Parrotfish is opaque in just two coats however it needed a couple of coats of Gelous to get a smooth finish as the glitter is quite lumpy. I topped the whole thing off with one coat of Seche Vite.
