Literary Lacquer The Good Parts Collection: Part 2

Hi Hussies!

Tonight I bring you another three polishes from Literary Lacquer The Good Parts Collection. Last week I showed you the holographic polishes from the collection (see here), this week I've got some gorgeous glitters to share :-)

Roissey

Roissey is an intense royal blue jelly packed with masses and masses of blue shimmer and black shards. The shimmer is so dense I couldn't make up my mind if it was fine glitter or shimmer but the macro setting on my camera showed that it is in fact tiny shimmery flakes packed together.

The formula was easy to work with and I achieved full coverage in three coats, although this would be perfect layered over a blue base too (something like Picture Polish Cosmos would be amazing!). Some of the shards stuck up from the nail so I gently pushed them down into the polish while it was still soft and topped the manicure off with a coat of Gelous and a coat of Seche Vite.

Woman of Pleasure

Woman of Pleasure is a gorgeous periwinkle, purple leaning crelly polish with blue, lavender and pink glitter in several sizes and those cute fuchsia circle glitters.

The formula was a dream, gliding on easily and reaching opacity in just two coats. I topped it off with a coat of Gelous and a coat of Seche Vite for a totally glass like finish.

Zipless

Zipless is a highly pigmented bright red jelly with bright red matte glitter and holographic gold glitter. The red glitter is really unusual and I had doubts if it would show up against the red jelly but it cuts through the base and glows like burning embers.

Being a jelly polish I found it took several coats to reach opacity so I decided to layer Zipless over a base of Cult Nails Quench to add depth. The swatches here show two coats of Zipless over a base of Quench, followed by a coat of Gelous and a coat of Seche Vite.
