Aphrodite Lacquers Violent Delights

Tonight I have Violent Delights from the lovely Rebecca at Aphrodite Lacquers.

"These violent delights have violent ends And in their triumph die, like fire and powder," (Act 2,Scene 6 )

When Rebecca asked me if I would review this polish I was thrilled! Not only is it a white based polish with glitter it is also named after a famous quote from William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. It seemed fitting that this polish was winging its way to me in Stratford upon Avon, UK, the birthplace of the famous bard.

Violent Delights is a white jelly polish with white square glitter, pink and purple glitters and holographic micro glitter. I decided to layer this polish over a white base, just to increase the opacity and make a nice crisp back ground for the gorgeous glitters.

The swatches here show two coats of Violent Delights over a base of Illamasqua Scorch followed by one coat of Gelous and a coat of Seche Vite.
