Enchanted Polish Ho Ho Holodays Collection

Hello all! Sooooo its the middle of December and here in the UK we are blanketed in a really thick freezing fog, obviously not the ideal conditions for photographing polish, especially holographic polish! Ive given it a damn good go though!

I also want to say sorry about my nubbins, I've been neglecting my nails for the past couple of weeks while I do my university essays :-S

Here are the new pretties by Enchanted Polish. The Ho Ho Holodays Collection consists of four utterly original holographic polishes that have a slight metallic twist to them....

Olive The Other Reindeer

Olive is a pretty little reindeer, but sadly due to her brother Rudolf she gets overlooked. This year is her turn to shine though!

Olive is a bronze/olive green polish, depending on which angle you have your nails. The holographic effect is scattered and really pretty. Unfortunately we don't get much sunlight in the winter here so I've taken some photos in natural, foggy light and some with the flash on to show the holo and the olive green colour at its best. The holo effect is strong enough to glow a little even through the fog :-)

The swatches here show three coats of Olive (honestly it only needed two coats but I wanted to make sure I got the depth of colour for the photos) with no top coat.

Green Peace On Earth

Green Peace is a more limey shade of green and is much more delicate than the other colours in the collection. The holographic effect isn't as strong as it is in the others either. I think that if you think you cant wear green you should give this a go, its so delicate and pretty and not at all scary for a first time green user.

The swatches here show three coats of Green Peace On Earth and no top coat. The photographs taken in natural light reflect the true colour of this polish, however I have taken a photograph with the flash to show off the holo.

Dance Of The Sugar Plum

This polish is a beautiful dusty, plum colour. It has a slight metallic sheen to it when its not under bright lights which is really pretty. The holographic effect is stronger in this polish and it shines beautifully in bright light (would be awesome in sunlight!).

The swatches here show three coats of Dance Of The Sugar Plum and no top coat.

Bruised Nutcracker

Bruised Nutcracker is hands down my favourite polish out of this collection. Its a mid dusty blue that leans ever so slightly teal in the right light. The holo effect is fairly strong and it still has a slightly metallic look.

The swatches here show three coats of Bruised Nutcracker and no top coat.
