Over the next couple of days I have four polishes from the new Santa Claws Collection by Jindie Nails. I have only just discovered Jindie (yes I know I'm a bit late to the party!) but Jen is fast becoming one of my favourite polish creators out there.
Today I have Blue Blue Xmas and Just Elfing Around to show you...
Blue Blue Xmas
Its no secret that I am a holographic whore! This polish really tickled my fancy, lets be honest whats not to like? This is a mid blue holographic polish that is somewhere between linear and scattered holo, I cant quite make up my mind on which camp it belongs to. The trick with holographic nail polish is to make it interesting in all lights not just when the rainbows dance. This colour is rich and interesting as so ticks all the boxes :-)
The formula is beautifully smooth and glides on with full coverage in two coats. For these swatches I didn't use a top coat (I never use a top coat with holo polish as it can dull the effect), however a top coat wasn't needed anyway because this polish dries to a glossy smooth finish.

Just Elfing Around
This polish is a bottle full of fun! It has a clear base with stacks of matte red, white and green glitters and a handful of holographic glitter to get the party started.
Once again the formula was good and a decent amount of glitter loaded onto the brush with a simple dip. I did have to fish a little for the larger glitters but that's nothing unusual as larger glitters are notoriously a PITA.
Here I layered one coat of Just Elfing Around over a base of Cult Nails Nevermore and topped it off with a thin coat of Gelous and a coat of Seche Vite.

Jindie Nails polish is available direct from Jen's Etsy store and will soon be coming to Shoppe Eclecticco so keep your eyes peeled for that!
Jen also has a Jindie Nails Facebook page where you can keep up to date with all of the latest releases and restocks.
