Hare Polish The Illuminated Life Collecton: Part 1

When I first saw the new Hare Polish collections I knew I had to have them, not just one or two, I had to have the ALL (I'm greedy like that!). So as soon as they were listed on the Llarowe site they were immediately stashed in my cart and they were miiiiiiine!!

Ill start with the Illuminated Life Collection, this was the collection that jumped out at me. Not only do I love the colours and the inner light of these polishes I also love the inspiration behind the collection of Marine Bioluminescence. I have to admit that I'm a bit of a marine geek and love all things fishy, it could be something to do with me being a Pisces...

Anyway on to the polish, tonight I have Atolla and Bury The Hatchetfish for you.

This is my absolute favourite of the whole collection, its simply stunning on every level and I cant say enough about how much I love it.

Atolla is a hot, funky, dark pink jelly packed with blue iridescent glass flecks and hex glitter. This polish literally glows!

The formula is a little on the thick side but its not too bad to work with. I found that it was too sheer for me to wear it alone (I HATE visible nail lines) so I layered two coats of Atolla over a base of Layla Holographic Red Taboo and topped it off with a coat of Gelous and two coats of Seche Vite.

Bury The Hatchetfish

On to something at the other end of the spectrum. Bury The Hatchetfish is a delicate, mushroom jelly with the same blue glowing glitters and a pink shimmer simmering in the background. This could be a work appropriate glitter polish.

Its not my favourite of the collection but it does have its own sophisticated, elegance that I can fully appreciate. You may have noticed I'm not really one for subtlety though ;-)

Again the formula was the same as Atolla, a little too sheer for me to wear it without undies so I layered two coats of Bury The Hatchetfish over a base of Cult Nails Tulum and topped it off with a coat of Gelous and two coats of Seche Vite.
