Hello my lovely Hussies, thank you all for your kind words and thoughts about my Grandma. It means an awful lot to know that you're behind me.
Today I'd like to introduce a new kid on the block, Daily Lacquer created by the lovely Maggy. The Etsy store opened at the start of the month and she sells the cutest polishes I've seen in a long time! The bottles are adorable and they are all tied with a pretty pink bow :-)
DISCOUNT ALERT!!! Use code Hussy20 at the checkout for 20% off your entire purchase!!!
Today I have Makoto and Rei to show you....
I have to be honest and say that when I first saw this polish I thought hmmmmmmm, this isn't really me. BUT once I got it on the nail it was a whole different story. I seem to have this thing about not liking green glitter polish, then loving it when I get it on my fingers!
Makoto is a seriously gorgeous blend of several shades and sizes of green and pink matte glitters and a good sprinkling of holo glitters to spice up the mix. There are also the cutest pale pink hearts which just made me smile :-)
The base is clear so its perfect for layering. I chose a fresh clean white base as it really showed up the colours of the glitter. The hot pink glitters really pop against the green. The formula is a little on the thick side but that's expected with a polish so packed with glitter. There was no fishing for glitter and the polish distributed well across the nail in even strokes.
I finished this mani off with one coat of Gelous and one coat of Seche Vite.

This polish was a winner for me the second I unwrapped it, it's beautiful! Rei is a combination of red and purple matte glitters, holographic moons, bars and micro glitter and beautiful, unique red matte stars all in a clear base.
This polish is exactly what I would order if I was to do a custom creation (I just don't have the creativity to think them up lol).
The formula was the same as Makoto but still easy to work with. Again there was no fishing for the stars or moons, they loaded on to the brush easily. The swatches show two coats of Rei over a base of Illamasqua Noble, followed by one coat of Gelous and one coat of Seche Vite.
