Shimmer Polish Linna

A few weeks ago I was asked by the lovely Annette from Shoppe Eclecticco if I would review some Shimmer Polish for her, which made me go squeeeeeeeeeeee!!!

Here is the first of two polishes I have to show you...

This is Linna, which on the surface looks like a pretty green glitter polish, but its oh so much more than just a green glitter polish. Linna is packed with green, turquoise and teal glitter, but it also has red, blue, and pale gold glitter scattered in the mix which makes this a really original polish. When I look at this I instantly think of The Little Mermaid, its like having the essence of Ariel on your fingertips, its got the green of her shimmering tail and the red accents of her glowing hair.

Anyone that thinks that shimmer polishes are just basic glitter polishes needs to think again, they are amazingly complex and seriously sparkly! I'm finding it quite refreshing to find a good sparkly polish company after all of the matte glitter hype of the summer.

The formula was a little thick which is to be expected for such a glitter packed polish, but its fairly easy to work with. The swatches here show two coats of Linna over a base of Picture Polish Kryptonite followed by one coat of Gelous and one coat of Cult Nails Wicked Fast.

See how complex the glitter mix is?
