Picture Polish Kryptonite

Yesterday I had a lovely parcel through from Kim at Overall Beauty containing some polishes that I purchased, one polish for review, two polishes for next weeks giveaway and a few other sneaky presents. Amongst the polishes I brought was Picture Polish Kryptonite. Now I have to admit that the night I brought this polish I was feeling down in the dumps and just brought it for the sake of it. I'm so glad I did though because its awesome!

Kryptonite is a deep forest green holographic polish. I have nothing that even comes close to it in my collection (which by the way is now at 1246 polishes, don't tell my husband!). The holographic effect is the same as that found in Attitude and Demeter (both can be seen here). Its a scattered effect and in some lights it looks almost like tiny holographic flakes or shards.

The formula was a dream to work with, the swatches here show two coats of Kryptonite to show real depth, but I could have gotten away with one coat. I topped it off with a coat of Cult Nails Wicked Fast.

See how the holographic particles are almost flakes/shards?

Sometimes you can only capture the true beauty of a holographic polish in a blurred shot

Don't forget the smart phone barcode which will take you directly to the supplier :-)

Picture Polish are available from Overall Beauty, Llarowe, Harlow & Co and directly from Picture Polish.
